Hackensack University Medical Center 2nd Street Pavilion – Bamco inc. has been selected to provide metal panel and associated items on HUMC’s latest expansionary project, the $714 Million dollar 2nd Street Pavilion. Bamco lent support throughout the design and development process, working closely with the architects RSC of Hackensack, N.J to incorporate over 130,000 square feet of our D-500 Rainscreen panels with latest generation outboard insulation and thermally broken clip systems for an energy efficient exterior meant to meet the design requirements of 21st century construction. The pavilion will include 24 new operating rooms, some with robotic surgical equipment, as well as expanded intensive care unit. A joint effort by Turner Construction and William Blanchard Company as General Contractors, the project is expected to be completed in 2022.
