The New York Hotel Trades Council Health Center – Long Island City, NY

Bamco is proud to work with Clifton Glass to replace an existing 55,000 SF structure with a new 84,000 SF 76-foot-tall project at 43-06 38th Street in Long Island City, NY.

This new building will feature a 6,000 SF perforated screen wall at the roof level.  Many of these panels at the screen wall have been paired to form a V-shape, which give a normally banal structure, a standout geometric statement.   On floors 2, 3, 4, and 5, Bamco will integrate over 5,000 SF of its P-500 .125” thick solid aluminum plate system, in between Clifton’s window walls and channel glass.  By specifying black and white panels, Gensler has created a timeless look that will shine for years to come.
